I watched broadcast tv for the first time in years this weekend. It was the most boring thing in the world. It was Dish but without a DVR so there were hundreds of channels but nothing that i was interested in sitting through commercials for. Forgetting that you can fast forward seems like a crime.

Steve also saw the world as a place where he would lie to his best friend about the money they made on a job so he could pocket more. He also saw the world as a place where he would knowingly lie about his illegitimate child, forcing her and her mother to live on welfare.

Is that bashing into walls? Building your own version of things?

Perhaps the best lesson to take from Steve is that while finding your own path is great, if you run over other people in the process you might be viewed as “inspired”, but you’ll also be viewed as an “asshole”.
